Chemical nickel plating
Chemical nickel plating is a high-quality coating that is wear-resistant and decorative while providing protection against corrosion. Because of the nature of the chemical nickel-plating process, hydrogen embrittlement may occur.
The chemical nickel-plating of disc springs is done in dipping units. Nickel-plated disc springs are typically used in applications where they are exposed to high mechanical and chemical stresses.
