Load testing of single disc springs

Unless otherwise agreed, the static load F of an individual spring is checked at a deflection

Typically, testing is performed while the spring is being loaded. The plates used to apply the load to the spring must be hardened, ground, polished and lightly oiled. For most applications, the allowable deviation from the rated force F (0.75 h_o) as noted in table A. If tighter load tolerances are required, Mubea should be consulted.

For diameter ratios less than De/Di ~ 1,8 (special size) load tolerances higher than those given in table A. are required. For non-standard dimensions the load tolerances should be reviewed with Mubea.
